From my archives.
In the heart of Tuscany's Cinque Terre lies Riomaggiore, a picturesque village that beckons to photographers like myself with its timeless beauty and captivating landscapes.
It's a world where every corner tells a story, from the pastel-colored houses cascading down steep cliffs to the vibrant alleyways adorned with bougainvillea. Riomaggiore is a symphony of colors and textures, offering endless opportunities for capturing the perfect shot.
For this shot I used a Nikkor 14-24mm lens at it's widest, my back pressed against a wall of a house on the opposite side of the bay. I was lucky to get it all in the frame - that big lens has helped me take some great landscape shots without any significant distortion.
For those who crave adventure behind the lens, Riomaggiore offers countless hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Wander off the beaten path and stumble upon secluded coves, ancient vineyards, and charming fishing boats bobbing in the harbour—a treasure trove of photographic inspiration at every turn.
